California Assisted Living Inservice Program:  Tired of researching what you should be training on each month? Worried you might not meet the mandated training hours and topics per Title 22? Worry no more! We take the hassle out of annual ongoing training by equipping you with monthly in-services developed by industry experts. Each month we have designated inservice topics for both caregivers and med techs.  This training plan will ensure associates complete the appropriate topics based on their role/job duties for 12 months.

Includes: This training program will consist of the following easy to use components:

  • Annual Inservice Training Schedule. Each year we provide a running monthly schedule identifying topics to be covered. Topics are designed to meet California staff training requirements, including dementia and medication subjects. Inservices are available for 12 months.
  • CA RCFE Caregiver Orientation Program – Only for first time customers.
  • CA RCFE Medication Orientation Program – Only for first time customers.
  • Caregiver Training Records. Proper documentation is key to staying in compliance.
  • Two live webinars a month. One for caregivers, another for med techs. Each webinar is approximately 1 hour. Webinars held the 1st Wednesday of every month.
  • Self-Paced Recorded Webinar.
  • Inservice Handout. Including, Let’s Talk About It group discussion guides and Test Your Knowledge quizzes.

Includes: Three ways to complete the inservice each month. Chose whichever works best for you and your team.

Option 1: Live Webinar
At the beginning of each month two live webinars will be hosted: one for caregivers, and another for med techs. During this webinar our licensed nurse instructors will cover the scheduled inservice topic. At the conclusion of the webinar an Active Learning checklist will be made available to reinforce the training in your community and verify competency. Individuals or groups are
encouraged to join us for the webinar.

Option 2: Self-Paced Recorded Webinar
Each webinar will also be recorded and made available for self-paced viewing by individual learners or directed group learning. After viewing the recording learners will complete a short quiz to verify they have understood the information presented.

Option 3: Self-Paced Recorded Webinar
Each month you will be provided an inservice handout that has key information to review with your staff. The handouts also include Let’s Talk About It group discussion guides and Test Your Knowledge quizzes at the end of each section.

The handout is a great option for holding a traditional inservice meeting with your associates. This can be one-on-one, or in large groups; whatever works best for you!
